Senior WordPress Consultant We are currently engaged in a project that requires a Senior WordPress Consultant on a 6-9 month consulting basis. In this role, the WordPress Consultant will: Migrate all enterprise web sites to a WordPress Content Management System for high traffic consumer facing websites & applications; Provide Integration of WordPress with external authentication, identity, and other IT systems; Provide Configuration, Installation, Maintenance & Cross Training on WordPress CMS Deliver reliable WordPress service for > 1,000 users and > 500,000 hits per day The appropriate individual will have demonstrated experience in the following: WordPress Implementation Expert; Expert in installing, configuring, and running WordPress Blogging Product as a mission-critical software product for an enterprise; Web Development experience that includes: WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL; Java, Perl and other Content Management Systems (CMS) a plus; Delivery of mission-critical WordPress instance(s); Expertise with Apache, MySQL and PHP (the underpinnings of WordPress); Expertise and knowledge of common WordPress plug-ins: their use, behavior, benefits, and risks; Expertise in the operation of WordPress, including configuration, themes, and security;
