New WordPress Default Theme Will Be Changed In Upcoming Release of WordPress

It is said that WordPress has decided to replace their outdated Kubrick theme with a new default install theme in version 3.0. The 2010 theme is now under development based on Kirby, created by Ian Stewart and you can have a sneak peek here. It shows a massive improvement: a nice modern look, a really clean layout, lots of HTML tags,  a readability test page and different ways to format your images.
